We are looking for an ETL Data Engineer to reinforce our Market Research and Analysis team, which supports Sales Operations and senior management decision-making and strategic planning activities.
You are our perfect match if you have a strong track record in building robust data pipelines to speed up and automate procedures and processes related to data collection, transformation, data storage, and quality.
Superpowers you have:
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Market or Competitive/Competitors research or Business Analysis;
- 3+ years of experience in any script programming language (Python, JavaScript, etc.);
- 2+ years of experience managing RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.);
- Experience with web data scraping and API;
- Strong project management skills and managing multiple projects on time;
- Good understanding of data science concepts;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Upper-Intermediate level of English.
You’re a rockstar if you have:
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau;
- Experience with CRMs: Salesforce, Zoho CRM/Analytics, Microsoft Dynamics;
- Understanding of NoSQL databases;
- Knowledge of any other European language.
Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:
- Perform the key role in the Market Research and Analysis team responsible for all data flows inside the team;
- Define data gathering techniques, develop and build ETL data pipelines in Market Research and Analysis team;
- Identify, prioritize, collect, check, cleanse, transform and help to Analyze different kinds of market data;
- Collaborate with the CRM and ERP Engineering teams on data warehousing and joint tasks;
- Continuously monitor data flow and pipeline stability;
- Provide data quality management for the data owned by Market Research and Analysis team;
- Set standards for data transformation/processing;
- Develop best solutions for data extraction, transformation, and storage;
- Build a foundation for planned predictive analytics projects;
- Develop, implement and maintain market intelligence datasets, reports, dashboards, and insights for Sales Operations and Management;
- Work with internal business customers to enhance their use of strategic, market, and competitor intelligence.
