Superpowers you have:
- 7+ years of experience in IFRS reporting and consolidation within international groups or in Big Four firm.
- Experience coordinating consolidated and standalone audits and working with accounting, tax, transfer-pricing and audit providers across several jurisdictions.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, consolidation principles, intercompany transactions and transfer pricing.
- ACCA, DipIFR or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
- Proven project-management and process-improvement skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence in working with large data sets.
You’re a rockstar if you have:
- Work experience with Xero, Microsoft Dynamics 365
Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:
- Manage and supervise the IFRS Accounting Team (4 direct reports).
- Set and maintain IFRS accounting policies, the chart of accounts, posting guides and control procedures; monitor new standards and lead their implementation.
- Own monthly, quarterly and annual IFRS closing processes, ensuring complete, accurate and timely reporting across all Group entities.
- Perform service providers’ management in each country. Prepare annually the scope and budget for audit engagements, tax review engagements, outsourced accounting and advisory. Manage the workflow and contract execution.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and statutory financial reporting by legal entities. Ensure compliance with CIT laws, CIT return filing due dates, CIT payments due dates (by managing the service providers).
- Ensure compliance with Transfer Pricing laws by countries (by managing the service providers).
- Supervise standalone financial statements preparation and audits across jurisdictions, including provider selection, requests, adjustments, signing and statutory submission.
- Lead the consolidated audit lifecycle: prepare consolidated financial statements, allocate and review requests, resolve key audit matters and ensure timely issuance and filing.
- Lead further improvements and automations of accounting processes.
- Perform other operational and ad-hoc tasks.
