    IFRS Accounting Team Lead

    We are looking for an IFRS Accounting Team Lead to join our Financial Department to bring professional experience and manage the IFRS Accounting Unit.

    Superpowers you have:

    • 5+ years of experience in IFRS accounting
    • 3+ years of experience in large international groups as a chief accountant/IFRS team lead or in Big4 as an auditor
    • 2+ years of management experience
    • In-depth knowledge of IFRS accounting and reporting standards
    • Higher education (degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or the other appropriate qualification)
    • Upper-intermediate level of English
    • A natural ability to be attentive, responsible, and scrupulous
    • Strong communication skills
    • Confidence using MS Office Excel/Google Sheets

    You’re a rockstar if you have:

    • DipIFR/ACCA diplomas 
    • Work experience with Xero, Microsoft Dynamics 365

    Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:

    • Manage and supervise the IFRS Accounting Team (4 subordinates)
    • Conduct accounting under IFRS for complex transactions and intra-group transactions (leases, business acquisitions, consolidations, etc.)
    • Perform period-end closing procedures
    • Prepare documentation supporting intra-group transactions (operating, investing, financing)
    • Supervise the preparation of standalone financial statements for all legal entities within the Group. Submit them to external auditors
    • Prepare the consolidated financial statements of the Group (annually, full package under IFRS). Respond to external auditors’ requests
    • Partner with the Audit & Compliance team to ensure IFRS, GAAP and Tax Compliance
    • Be responsible for leading the implementation and testing of IFRS accounting and reporting in MS Dynamics.
    • Perform other operational accounting-related tasks
