We are looking for an experienced Technical IT Manager with good knowledge of IT Systems and PC/Console Service Line.
Superpowers you have:
- 3+ years of experience as an IT professional in AAA game development production, preferable PC/Console cycle;
- 3+ years of management experience;
- Deep knowledge of large-scale game production (PC/Console) infrastructure requirements;
- Professional experience with game production (PC/Console) tools and pipelines from the scratch;
- Strong knowledge of game production (PC/Console) pipelines and rendering solutions;
- Upper-Intermediate level of English alongside excellent speaking and writing skills.
Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:
- Own the IT system and needs of the PC/ Consoles service line;
- Own and implement the strategy to ensure that services are sufficient to implement the line’s strategy:
- Respond to emergent needs and ensure downtime and losses are addressed with immediacy, and root-causes are defined and solved;
- Project management of the delivery of solutions for the PC/ Consoles service line (requirements clarification, time/cost management, stakeholder communication, risk assessment, delivering quality);
- Continuously improve IT-related processes, including IT security (onboarding processes, full cycle of projects, JIRA processes, Devportals, Gitlab, Github, other corporate systems), policy adaptation, development of technical specifications, and setting tasks;
- Understanding of cybersecurity: development of processes in support of security and ISO certification, risk matrix and their processing, BCP;
- Own the maintenance of team configurations by positions, coordination of configurations, license needs, administrative capabilities and groups;
- Assist with preparing specifications: Servers, PCs, development kits and other hardware, as well as licenses and other software expenses for large, multi site teams;
- Handle capacity planning and monitoring: endpoint equipment, infrastructure equipment, bandwidth, storage, connectivity, and redundancy;
- Support IT production tasks (development portals, dev kits, migrations, SaaS solutions).
