We are looking for a Senior Payroll Accountant to join our Accounting and Financial Reporting Team to bring professional experience, deal with payroll activities, and contribute to the company’s overall prosperity.

Superpowers you have:

  • 5+ years of experience working in accounting or payroll accounting;
  • Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level of English;
  • Higher degree in finance, accounting, statistics, or mathematics;
  • Being an advanced user of MS Office Excel/Google Sheets;
  • Being attentive to detail, independent, and responsible;
  • Ability to:
    • work attentively with a large amount of data;
    • organize a large number of repetitive tasks and perform them efficiently;
    • create internal controls through automation, documentation, and observation/recalculation.
    • be a team player with strong communication skills.

You’re a rockstar if you have:

  • Knowledge of contract law and tax law.

Becoming  part of the Room 8 Group, you will:

  • Participate in the process of new payroll providers searching and cooperation set up;
  • Effectively cooperate with current payroll providers in several countries:
    • Maintain and improve the current processes, communication, documents, ways of data collection, calculation, and transferring;
    • Ensure compliance and accuracy in local payroll processes, calculations, documents, and reporting;
    • Monitor the timeliness of execution of contract liabilities by payroll providers and quality control.
  • Participate in the calculation, accrual, and payment of remuneration to the contractors;
  • Participate in the design, maintenance, and improvement of processes, policies, documents, and internal controls related to the payroll function;
  • Cooperate with HR and Legal Departments in payroll-related matters;
  • Perform other operational payroll-related tasks.
