We’re looking for inspiring Senior QA Analysts in Poland and Romania to work closely with the QA Test Leads.

Becoming part of the Room 8 Group team, you will: 

  • Coordinate a small team of 2-3 people and assign tasks, following a list of priorities provided by a Test Lead;
  • Run basic database queries to provide brief reports on a specific game area or work done for the day;
  • Provide mentoring to new members of staff on QA processes and share own testing expertise;  
  • Test games to destruction to find and document any and all defects;
  • Compile a list of defects or any issues of design or implementation during a testing cycle;
  • Ensure all bugs assigned to QA are regressed and updated accordingly;
  • Work side-by-side with development teams to track issues and provide any help to assist in the remedy of the defects;
  • Work to a set test plan or broader testing focus instructions that will be bespoke for each game;
  • Have a good understanding of the different types of testing and execute those tests to a high standard;
  • Understand the end user perspective and provide feedback on the game’s fun factor, progression, or difficulty constructively and respectfully;
  • Maintain a positive atmosphere in the testing department;
  • Participate in game reviews and evaluations to measure the functionality of a game against its design specification.
