The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle for assigned roles, ensuring high-quality and timely hiring that supports the studio’s project and business needs. This role works closely with hiring managers and the TA team to provide a smooth and engaging candidate experience while contributing to the studio’s talent growth.
Superpowers you have:
- Experience in full life cycle recruitment, ideally placing talent with tech, creative, or gaming background;
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills, positive attitude, and high level of initiative;
- Strong motivation, self-direction, excellent learning skills, and ability to multitask;
- Flexibility, ability to prioritize business-critical roles and adjust schedules rapidly, all while keeping candidates engaged;
- Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks (LinkedIn, etc.) to identify and attract candidates;
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) and preferably another language.
You’re a rockstar if you have:
- Experience in game development studios;
- Experience with Art vacancies.
Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:
- Own end-to-end recruitment for a variety of roles across departments (art, tech, production, game, QA, etc.).
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to define role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
- Collaborate with sourcers to maintain a healthy candidate pipeline.
- Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and manage the interview process through to offer.
- Guide and support hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates in the People Force and maintain candidate records.
- Provide an excellent candidate experience through clear communication and professionalism.
- Contribute to recruitment reporting and market insights.
- Support employer branding efforts through social media, events, or campaigns.
