For the third year in a row, Room 8 Group is heading back to Sweden for Nordic Game—one of the key meeting points for the European games industry.
This year, several members of our team will be in Malmö to connect with partners, discuss industry challenges, and share perspectives on the future of game development.
Joining us at Nordic Game 2026
Yann Le Tensorer, VP of Technology
With 30 years of experience spanning game development, proprietary engines, studio leadership, and production innovation, Yann works closely with studios on large-scale technical and production challenges—from development pipelines and engine strategy to AI adoption, scalability, and long-term production planning.
Having led the creation of multiple AAA proprietary engines and worked across a wide range of game production environments, Yann brings a practical perspective on how emerging technologies, including GenAI and evolving player-driven ecosystems, are reshaping modern game development.
Jani Savolainen, Senior Business Development Director
Jani has more than 20 years in the games industry, much of it focused on external development partnerships. He works closely with studios and publishers to help solve production, scaling, and co-development challenges across different stages of development.
His experience spans both live projects and long-term strategic collaboration, with contributions to franchises including Alan Wake, Control, and Angry Birds.
Aliaksei Kanash, Engineering Division Director
Having worked in game development for over a decade, and software engineering for nearly 20 years, Aliaksei has built a huge level of expert knowledge. He specializes in solving complex technical and production challenges across Unreal Engine workflows, pipelines, and scalable development environments. He works with teams on improving engineering efficiency, evaluating emerging technologies, and building practical production solutions for modern game development.
This year, Aliaksei will also take the stage at Nordic Game 2026 with his featured speaker session:
ʼLLMs in Unreal Engine 5 production: from Claude code promises to measurable reality.ʼ
📍 Wednesday, May 27
🕦 11:45 AM – 12:20 PM
📌 Slagthuset, Malmö, Sweden
The session explores how LLM-driven tools are performing inside real Unreal Engine 5 production workflows — from gameplay systems to tools and pipelines. Drawing from practical production experience, Aliaksei will discuss where these technologies create measurable value, where they introduce risks or inconsistencies, and how studios can realistically evaluate their impact on development.
If you’ll be at Nordic Game too, we’d love to connect. Book a meeting with the Room 8 Group team and let’s talk about your next project: Contact form.
