We are currently looking for a Jira & Confluence Administrator who will play a key role in the support and further development of our self-hosted Jira and Confluence Data Center instance and ensure it adds value to all teams, squads, stakeholders, and the business.
Superpowers you have:
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience working with Jira and other Atlassian products.
- Working or internship experience with Atlassian tool stack (with a focus on Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills/experience in application testing and troubleshooting;
- Experience with IT Support, technical documentation, and content management/intranet pages;
- Able to work independently, take decisions, and implement new features related to Jira and Confluence;
- Able to prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
You’re a rockstar if you have:
- Atlassian certification/s;
- Experience with JAVA or bash scripting languages;
- Experience in Scriptrunner for JIRA or knowledge of Groovy scripting language;
- Knowledge of Atlassian JIRA API;
- Experience with BD (writing SQL queries).
Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:
- Create, modify, and maintain Jira Projects, including workflows, permissions, schemes, fields, etc;
- Clean, standardize and optimize shared objects in Jira to maintain and speed up our instance;
- Collaborate closely with Project Leads to create/modify Jira projects suited to their needs without adding unnecessary load/content on the application servers;
- Standardize and maintain Jira user groups and create standardized shared schemes for new and existing projects;
- Maintain, research, test, and implement new or existing Jira add-ons to extend its usability;
- Follow and develop procedures and guidelines to install, patch, configure, customize, troubleshoot, upgrade, integrate, and maintain Atlassian applications.
- Maintain, clean, and create new configurations and content in Confluence;
- Support colleagues in creating and maintaining content in Confluence;
- Research, test, and implement new Confluence Add-ons to bring more usability to Confluence;
