    Operations Specialist

    Room 8 Group is looking for an Operations Specialist to assist the Operations Manager with daily operations. The role involves processing operational requests, supporting various processes and procedures, and utilizing tools effectively. The Specialist will identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity, collect and maintain data, and create visualizations to present information. Additionally, the position will contribute to internal projects and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.

    Superpowers you have:

    • 2+ years of experience as an operations specialist/assistant or in a similar administrative and process-driven role.
    • Upper-intermediate level of English (written and spoken) for seamless collaboration and documentation.
    • Good command of Microsoft applications, Jira and Confluence.
    • Understanding of financial basics. 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
    • Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail and a process-driven mindset.
    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to reprioritize tasks in a dynamic environment and manage last-minute changes effectively.
    • Commitment to operational excellence.
    • Self-driven and proactive attitude combined with a strong work ethic.

     

    You’re a rockstar if you have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field is preferred. 

    Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:

    • Support operational requests.
    • Monitor day-to-day operations and performance reports, proactively identify issues and recommend actionable improvements. 
    • Support and adhere to established processes, procedures and tools. 
    • Identify gaps, bottlenecks and waste and provide improvement suggestions. 
    • Assist with the implementation of new processes, procedures and tools. 
    • Discover, document and effectively communicate specific requirements and needs. 
    • Provide informational support on the internal processes. 
    • Make regular communications on process and tool changes to all internal stakeholders. 
    • Manage data collection for the updating of metrics and reports. 
    • Assist in the preparation and review of reports, presentations and dashboards. 
    • Maintain and keep up-to-date documentation on the Confluence page. 
    • Maintain and update access matrices. 
    • Create the requirements for reports for the Business Reporting team. 
    • Create day-to-day reports requested by the management. 
    • Validate the data in reports created by the Business Reporting team or Data & Reporting Department.  
    • Support the change management process for system changes to avoid conflicts and maintain data integrity.
    • Propose improvements for data mapping and integration for enhanced efficiency. 
    • Facilitate bug fixing in workflows configured in internal systems. 
    • Assist the Operations Manager with the internal projects.
