Room 8 Group is looking for a Senior Copywriter who knows how to turn complex industry insights into clear, compelling narratives. If you’re a storyteller with 3+ years of experience in copywriting, ideally with a background in journalism or editorial content, and you’re excited about the game development industry (or even better, already in it) — we’d love to talk.
Superpowers you have:
- 3+ years of copywriting experience, with bonus points for journalism, content editing, or tech writing.
- Knowledge on how to write for B2B audiences — clearly, strategically, and without the fluff.
- Experience working with subject matter experts, asking the right questions, and translating expert knowledge into engaging stories.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English (native level).
- Ability to come up with strong content ideas independently, without relying on AI prompts. You know how to research, think critically, and bring original, non-obvious angles to the table.
- Interest in the gaming industry — ideally, you follow news, trends, and know how to speak the language of devs and publishers.
- Ability to be organized, independent, and collaborative.
- Portfolio: Showcase your copywriting skills through a portfolio of relevant work.
You’re a rockstar if you have:
- Journalistic Background: Previous experience in journalism is an advantage.
- Game Development: Familiarity with the game development or visual effects industry is preferred.

- Conduct expert interviews and turn them into smart, engaging, and readable content.
- Work on website copy, presentation decks, and marketing proposal texts.
- Proofread, fact-check, and edit materials to ensure consistency and tone of voice across all platforms.
