We’re looking for a Production Management Director who will provide leadership to the Production Management Division, ensure strategy establishment for all teams to accomplish Business Unit strategic goals.
This person will own production management standards in BU, ensure high quality of project execution to Clients in accordance with obligations and market standards, approved budget, internal production management standards and target quality and be in charge of the Production Unit performance management system.
Superpowers you have:
- 8+ years of experience on a leadership position;
- 5+ years of experience in the GameDev industry;
- Experience at managing teams in scale/leading large-scaled management efforts;
- Multi-cultural management experience;
- Higher Education in Management, Administration or similar fields;

Professional Project Management Certificate.
Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:
- Prepare Production Management Division budget model on yearly basis and update it during re-forecast process;
- Enforce best practices and reports KPI on Production Management Division performance;
- Actively manage subordinates’ performance and ensure optimal staffing to align with requirements;
- Foresee and resolve challenges of international projects operating, time and cultural differences for production teams, possible production complications in the globalized environment;
- Provide and coordinate clear communication channels between Production Management Division and all Units inside Room 8 Group;
- Closely collaborate with production-related departments;
- Act as a main contact point for both internal and external production inquiries;
- Escalate issues appropriately to Business Unit leadership;
- Establish performance management system inside Production Management Division, align it with Business Unit strategy and navigate it regularly;
- Initiate and implement production process and practices that ensure Business Unit delivery excellence;
- Guide learning and development processes for Production Management Division according to the market trends;
- Establish methodology and tools for delivery excellence monitoring;
- Control standards compliance by all Project Managers and/or Producers of different levels in the Division, by having clear performance review processes and aggregate analytics;
- Develop and timely update the instruments of control to guarantee compliance with management quality standards: efficient budgeting, smart goals setting and task management, reasoned capacity management, clear and on time communication;
- Build and maintain a framework for timeline management and ensure its usage for each project;
- Deploy rigorous onboarding processes for Production Management Division subordinates in new locations, actively support and guide new production team-members adaptation;
- Establish and control PMO team member’s assessment process, increase the average level of assessment and ensure the fulfillment of target indicators;
- Analyze results of team performance review, act upon deviations from expected level;
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals;
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients by demonstrating empathy, transparency, and a deep understanding of their needs;
- Regularly update clients on project progress, milestones, risks, and any changes to the scope or timeline;
- Conduct regular client feedback sessions to gather insights and improve future project outcome;
- Act as an advocate for the client within the company, ensuring that internal teams understand and prioritize client needs;
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings and discussions with clients to foster collaboration and partnership growth.
