    Senior SDET

    Our Game Development team provides comprehensive co-dev and full-cycle dev solutions, across all platforms. We’ve helped make some of the biggest games of the past decade, like Call of Duty:

    Modern Warfare II and III, and we work with dozens of the world’s biggest publishers and developers.

    Through primarily organic growth, we are proudly independent, now home to around 1,100 creatives based in Europe, North America, and South America.

    We are looking for a skilled and motivated  Senior SDET to join our internal tools team. You will play a key role in designing and implementing test automation frameworks to ensure the stability, performance, and quality of our game development tools and pipelines.

    Superpowers you have:

    • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and/or Python.
    • Solid experience with unit testing frameworks to support robust code quality.
    • Proven track record in test automation and scripting, ideally within a game development environment.
    • Experience in developing game engine tools, targeted to improve the product’s quality.
    • Understanding DevOps practices and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and configuration (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, TeamCity).
    • Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

    Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will:

    • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for internal tools.
    • Automate test cases during the development of new features.
    • Collaborate closely with developers and QA engineers to identify gaps in test coverage and build an automation plan.
    • Participate in test plan reviews and contribute to enhancing test coverage.
    • Lead the integration of test frameworks into the CI/CD toolchain.
    • Contribute to the overall test orchestration strategy in CI.
    • Ensure that test frameworks and infrastructure are scalable and maintainable.
    • Continuously improve existing automation frameworks to support new features and system changes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues from automated test failures in CI pipelines.
    • Conduct thorough regression testing to validate that framework updates do not impact current functionalities.
    • Participate in code reviews with a focus on testing strategy and quality.
    • Foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team.
