    General provision 

    At Room 8 Group, we recognize the importance of sustainable practices and their impact on the environment and society. We are committed to integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations into our operations, decision-making processes, and culture.

    Environmental Responsibility: We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and minimizing our impact on the environment. We will achieve this by implementing energy-efficient practices, reducing waste, and promoting recycling and responsible resource consumption.

    General Provision 

    1. Room 8 Group’s diversity initiatives are applicable—but not limited—to our practices and policies on recruitment and selection; compensation and benefits; professional development and training; promotions; social and well-being programs; terminations; and the ongoing development during the cooperation.
    2. Each specialist will be held liable for acts of bullying, harassment, victimization, and unlawful discrimination during the cooperation against fellows, partners, and the public according to our Disciplinary Action Policy. 
    3. To achieve policy objectives, the Company commits to:
      • Encourage equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace as a part of corporate values and culture;
      • Regularly review formal and informal hiring practices and procedures to ensure they are fair and help to identify the best talent, recruitment, and selection practices are free from unlawful discrimination;
      • Create a working environment free of bullying, harassment, victimization, and unlawful discrimination, promoting dignity and respect for all, and where individual differences and the contributions of all specialists are recognized and valued;
      • Maintain that communication is respectful between all employees regardless of title or level;
      • Provide training of managers and specialists about their rights and responsibilities under the equality, diversity, and inclusion policy; 
      • Investigate promptly all complaints of bullying, harassment, victimization, and unlawful discrimination by specialists, suppliers, visitors, the public, and any others in the course of corporate activities. Make opportunities for training, development, and progress available to all specialists, who will be helped and encouraged to develop their full potential, so their talents and resources can be fully utilized to maximize the efficiency of the company;
      • Review corporate practices and procedures when necessary to ensure fairness, and also update them and the policy to take into account changes in the law.
    4. We recognize the need to balance work and home life and have in place a range of family-friendly policies and guidelines.
    5. We recognise that it is necessary to encourage more flexible patterns of work where feasible, to attract and retain staff in order to help them have a more balanced and better quality working life.
    6. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy workforce for our employees by minimizing the risk of people suffering from poor health as a result of work, resolving ways to allow people to work with poor health or disabilities, and promoting a healthy and productive workforce.
    7. We have created a dedicated Equality & Diversity team/group to champion diversity and inclusion throughout the business, and as a forum to facilitate discussions and challenges, reduce gaps, and create new initiatives where staff can get involved, contact the team with concerns, and seek help and support.
