Join our dynamic team as a mid/senior-level Test Automation Engineer, mentor our rising automation stars, and play a key role in shaping the future of our testing practices.

 

Please take into account that in order to be eligible for this role, you must be located in Poland.

Superpowers you have:

  • Programming Expertise: Minimum 2 years of experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and applying them in a language like C# or Java. Experience in a testing context is highly preferred.
  • Automation Proficiency: Proven experience in designing, writing, and maintaining effective automated test suites, demonstrating strong test case design skills. Experience with NUnit or other .NET automation frameworks is highly preferred.
  • Passion for Game Testing: Understanding of game development processes, common game testing challenges, and the ability to translate those into actionable test strategies.
  • Detail-Oriented Problem-Solving Mindset: You have an eye for detail, excel at troubleshooting automation failures, and meticulously investigate issues to identify their root causes.
  • Collaborative Drive: You thrive in collaborative settings, eager to share your automation expertise, mentor junior colleagues, and champion quality standards.

You’re a rockstar if you have:

  • Proficiency in additional programming languages (Python, JavaScript, C++, etc.) demonstrates your adaptability and a broader understanding of software development principles.
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, etc.) through custom plugins or integrations, or have a solid understanding of other automation frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with cloud-based test execution and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.), performance testing tools, visual regression tools, or other game-specific tool solutions.
  • Built custom tools or scripts to enhance automation efficiency, reporting, or to solve specific testing challenges, demonstrating programming skills beyond pure test writing.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive test plans, analyze risks, and adapt automation approaches to project and client needs.
  • Personal coding projects (games, mods, tools, etc.) 
  • A Computer Science degree  (or from another applicable field like math) or relevant certifications/training in software testing, test automation, or programming (ISTQB, C# certifications, online courses) showcase your commitment to continuous learning and a solid foundation in software development and testing principles.
  • A desire to share your knowledge and guide junior team members, contributing to their growth and the team’s success.

  • Build comprehensive automated test cases covering various game systems, mechanics, and edge cases, utilizing your C# skills, GameDriver automation tool and deep understanding of testing principles.
  • Continuously improve test coverage, execution speed, and maintainability of the automation solutions.
  • Work closely with game developers and your colleagues to identify automation opportunities and debug game / tools issues.
  • Contribute to test planning, risk analysis, and the development of innovative solutions tailored to game development challenges.
  • Guide and mentor Junior Test Automation Engineers and other colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning and automation excellence.
  • Contribute to Tool Development. Where your skills allow, work on tools and scripts to streamline our QA processes or enhance automation capabilities
