16 nominations at the 27th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards 

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) has unveiled the 27th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards nominees. This notable event in the video game industry, renowned for its peer-juried recognition, will be hosted by Greg Miller from Kinda Funny Games and Stella Chung from IGN. The awards ceremony is scheduled for February 15, 2024, at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas and will be part of the week-long 2024 D.I.C.E. Summit. The ceremony will also be streamed live by IGN..

This year’s nominations include 56 games released in 2023. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 leads with nine nominations, closely followed by Alan Wake 2 with 8. Other notable nominees include Baldur’s Gate 3 with seven nominations and COCOON with six. The Game of the Year category features an impressive lineup: Alan Wake 2, Baldur’s Gate 3, COCOON, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

We are pleased to share that Room 8 Studio & Dragons Lake, Room 8 Group’s Art and PC/Console service lines, have worked on several titles that received nominations across 16 categories. This includes multiple nominations for Alan Wake 2 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

In summary, our collaborative efforts have contributed to nominations for:

• Alan Wake 2 with eight nominations
• Star Wars Jedi: Survivor with four nominations
• Diablo IV, Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR, Dead Space, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, and Forza Motorsport, each with their respective nominations
