NAVGTR Awards 2024: Celebrating Gaming Excellence

The National Academy of Video Game Trade Reviewers (NAVGTR) is gearing up for its 23rd annual awards program. With a panel of over 1,000 media voters and a vibrant community of more than 14,000, NAVGTR remains a leading voice for recognizing excellence in the video game industry.

Covering a broad range of categories (54, to be exact), the NAVGTR Awards recognize achievements in fields such as animation, art direction, character design, controls, game design, engineering, music, sound effects, and writing. Throughout its history, NAVGTR has honored nearly 7,000 people.

The NAVGTR Awards also recognize the studios and companies behind these groundbreaking titles. This year’s top developers include Insomniac Games, Nintendo, Square Enix, Summerfall, Tango Gameworks, and Ascendant Studios. Equally, the top publishers, such as Sony Interactive Entertainment, Nintendo, Square Enix, Electronic Arts, Bethesda Softworks, Focus Entertainment, Humble Bundle, Netflix, and Bandai Namco have played a pivotal role in bringing these games to the market.
