We’ve been working hard alongside Paradox Interactive to bring the new Wards & Wardens event pack to Crusader Kings III on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
As we progressed with development, our Technology team made sure the console version remained as seamless and intuitive as possible.
What we’ve done:
- Adapted Wards & Wardens for consoles: we integrated the new event pack into the console versions of Crusader Kings III, offering free features and premium content for those who purchase the DLC.
- Crucial bug fixes: fixed most of the biggest issues (including crashes) reported by players since the previous release, making the game even more stable.
- Multiplayer improvements: we dedicated time to resolving syncing issues, resulting in a noticeably smoother multiplayer experience.
- Refined navigation: we’ve made improvements to how smoothly players can navigate menus using a gamepad. UI is now more intuitive, and we’ve added a lot of polish since the last version to enhance the overall user experience.
- Restored character filters: We made sure missing filter buttons reappear across multiple screens, along with visual improvements to all filter windows.
- Optimized performance: We have eliminated micro-freezes, especially in multiplayer sessions on PS5, and made numerous other quality-of-life enhancements.
We remain committed to delivering high-quality, immersive gaming experiences on console platforms, and our partnership with Paradox Interactive is a key part of achieving that goal.
Crusader Kings III: Wards & Wardens is available starting March 5, 2025, on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles.
