Room 8 Group Celebrates Multiple Nominations at the 24th Game Developers Choice Awards

The 24th Game Developers Choice Awards finalists have been revealed. We are delighted to share that Room 8 Studio (by Room 8 Group) has worked on several titles that received nominations across five of the 10 categories: 

• Best Narrative
• Best Technology
• Best Audio 
• Best Visual Art
• Game of the Year

We are wholeheartedly rooting for Alan Wake II and Diablo IV and extend congratulations to our partners, Remedy Entertainment and Blizzard Entertainment. It is an honor to have contributed to such great projects!

Nominees for these awards include acclaimed titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Baldur’s Gate 3, and Cocoon. All of the nominations are peer-based awards, decided by game developers themselves, meaning that winning an award is a stamp of approval from fellow industry experts. 

The results of this year’s Game Developers Choice Awards will be unveiled during GDC 2024 in San Francisco on March 20. The Game Developers Choice Awards 2024 follows the Independent Games Festival Awards, which celebrates the innovation and artistry of indie titles and their creators. Both ceremonies will be accessible for all GDC 2024 pass holders.
