Phantom Frames: A Halloween Art Gallery from Creatives at Room 8 Group

Dead By Deadlight, CONTROL, Metal: Hellsinger and Dead Space – when it comes to the gruesome and gory, our artists have been involved in creating everything from light-hearted spooky effects, to the totally terrifying.

This Halloween season, we reached out to some of our artists at Room 8 Group and invited them to share their own personal spooky creations.

Explore their eerie artworks below to get immersed in the spirit of Halloween.

My inspiration springs from the supernatural, the realm beyond the grasp of our everyday reality. To me, characters endowed with such otherworldly attributes possess a richer tapestry of backstory and identity. This is why, when I embark on a new project, my inclination typically leans towards creating eerie and unsettling content.

I adore Halloween; it’s a holiday that injects vibrant hues, enchanting stories, and enchantment into our existence. Designing Halloween monsters is an absolute delight because they’re frightful yet not overly so, eerie yet utterly delightful, monstrous yet bursting with vividness! With a touch of imagination, some joy, and a sprinkle of fairy tales, voilà, a brand-new monster comes to life. Enjoy!

Usually, I prefer sketching things that aren’t ordinary, often leaning towards the eerie, as it has a way of jolting the observer out of the everyday and encouraging them to see things from a fresh perspective. However, when it comes to Halloween, it’s simply a delightful tradition and an opportunity to enjoy oneself, to consider alternative ways of presenting these pumpkins, and to partake in the global revelry of whimsical merriment.

I have a lot of fun trying to make something cute and weird at the same time, and Halloween is the perfect time for that!

I enjoy drawing something like this because it exudes warmth, coziness, and a touch of magic!

I wanted to represent some type of shamanic sacrifice with certain satanic/punk symbology in this art. I also aimed for a balanced and symmetrical composition that could be read vertically. Maybe the sorcerer needed to make a sacrifice to carry out his spell… would he have achieved it?

There are times when I simply crave painting something out of the ordinary for a change. Unlike my usual tasks, I yearn to craft something entirely distinct, something just for my own creative pleasure.
